Add mobile AR shoe try-on to Shopify

The WEARFITS: Shoes Try-On app installs in your Shopify admin and adds a camera-based AR try-on to your product pages. Shoppers see shoes on their own feet from a tap or a QR scan — with no app to download.

What the app does

WEARFITS: Shoes Try-On turns your existing product photos into a mobile AR try-on, then embeds a "Try on" entry point on your Shopify product pages. When a shopper taps the button on their phone — or scans the QR code shown on desktop — the try-on opens in the mobile browser and places the shoe on their feet using the camera. There is no app for the shopper to install: on iOS it runs as an App Clip from the web, and on Android via WebXR.

Because the renderer uses strong occlusion handling, the virtual shoe stays correctly hidden behind the foot and ankle and looks right even over the shoes a shopper is already wearing — not a flat, sticker-like overlay. Setup is an integration, not a 3D project: no scanning, modeling, or external 3D work is required on your side.

Why merchants add it

Higher engagement

Shoppers interact with the product longer when they can see shoes on their own feet, increasing time on the product page.

~30% conversion lift

Reported conversion lift of roughly 30% on product pages with AR try-on. Figures are reported industry estimates and vary by catalog.

Fewer returns

Seeing the shoe before buying helps set expectations on look and style, which merchants report reduces returns.

Impact figures are reported industry estimates attributed to AR try-on deployments and depend on traffic, catalog, and merchandising. This page does not state app ratings or install counts.

Install and setup guide

  1. 1

    Open the listing and install

Go to the WEARFITS: Shoes Try-On Shopify App Store listing, click Install, and approve the app for your store from your Shopify admin.

  2. 2

    Connect your shoe catalog

In the app, choose the collections or products to enable. The try-on is generated from your existing product photos, so there is no scanning or 3D modeling step.

  3. 3

Add the try-on block to the product page

Open your theme editor, add the WEARFITS app block to the product template, and position the Try-on button where you want it. No theme code editing is required.

  4. 4

Preview and test on a phone

Open a product page on a mobile device, tap the Try-on button (or scan the QR code shown on desktop), and confirm the AR shoe try-on launches in the browser with no app install. See device compatibility if a test device does not launch AR.

  5. 5

    Publish

Save and publish the theme changes so the try-on is live for shoppers across your catalog.
